Good leaders weren't born with certain leadership skills. Research over the past
few years has shown that leadership is a set of skills and practices that can be
learned. Anyone who wants to learn and is exposed to leadership development opportunities
can become a leader.
I'm not sure I agree with that statement above. I have found by experience
that some people are never going to be leadership material. Unless we are
saying that people who go to Toastmasters, those that make that decision to
come, obviously have an ability to be leaders.
