The praying of the upright is God's delight.
Proverbs 15:8
That means of course is that if you do the right thing God likes you.

When we talk about upright we are talking about those who do love, justice and righteousness.

When you talk to God he does not ignore you
Proverbs 15:29
God listens to the righteous. That is he listens to those who do the right thing.
God is taking attention to what you say.

Think about this
The meaning of listening has the same meaning in English, Hebrew/O/T and Greek/N/T
It is not the case of you praying down here on the earth at a distance, but in fact, when you talk to God  his voice goes right to where he lives. Your talking to God comes to the very ear of God. He pays attention to what you are saying.
I hope you are understanding what I am saying.
When you talk to God your voice goes right to the ear of God and he is paying attention to you.
That is: You,  God is hearing you.
He cares about you.

Try to get into the habit of coming to God and talk about your situation.
He cares about you and he will help you

From my experience I can guarantee you, God does listen you your very desires before you even pray verbally.
Keep close to Jesus
