A REASON FOR ACTION.
Do you have a clear focus about where
your life is heading.
0r
is your life obscured by mist. The mist needs to be pushed aside so that you can
plan and then focus on your goals.
If goal setting is new to you, you might
find help in your local bookstore. Usually there is a section for motivation
type books.
Probably the most important point about goal setting is, you must see the goal
you are trying to achieve. The end-goal could be reached after completing
intermediate steps. So sub-goals are also goals which if you accomplish them,
you will have achieved the end goal.

You goal can be anything.
Below, one simple example of what I'm talking about.
This
time of the year many students miss out a place in university.. That means they
can say, ` Ok I've missed out, so university is out of the question'. You
can make that decision and decide another career.
Not all students are happy to change a career, particularly if they really want to go to university to claim a particular career. So, even though you missed out this time, you can plan (end -goal) to finally get into university. Sub-goals could be, you say `Ok, I'll go the TAFE, get some credit points, then apply for university.' Many, many take the TAFE road. So the sub-goal is to go to TAFE for a few years. Once TAFE is accomplished (sub-goal accomplished) the end-goal can now be achieved.
The most important part of the process is you need to have a goal or goals. Then plan to achieve your goals, but you may need to accomplish sub-goal's to achieve the end goal.
I cannot underestimate how determined you need to be to achieve your goal. You need to plan your year, your months, weeks and days, it all takes discipline.
But you can if you want.
