In the next few days I hope to fix all the  moving pictures (GIFS) and other problems with my site. I have found dozens of problems so I hope by the end of 10th-5-004 all problems will be fixed..
I will tell you when the job is completed. Then you can look and if there are any squares or rectangles with the cross it means I have missed some. Email mean with the page address.

If you need help, to gain confidence to speak in front of people, look in your telephone book for the closest Toastmaster club. I am in the Glen Innes Toastmaster club. There will be a club somewhere near you. If you need to travel 150 kilometers to find one, you will be happy you did.

It appears that this article below in the Glen Innes Examiner was inappropriate because no license was allocated to a community group, other then the group based in Deepwater FM committee. (the ABA called the group, was one who aspired for a license, but even though a license was available ABA had not given the license to a particular group)  who were trying to have a Glen license allocated.
In November 2003 the ABA advertised for groups interested in running a FM station in Glen Inness, but no group put a proposal in, so it appears that the ABA decided not to allocate a FM licence in Glen Inness. Look at http://www.aba.gov.au You will see in NSW, Deepwater FM has a license, but not Glen Innes.

This photo on the right  is from  the Glen Innes Examiner April 27, 2004. A small photo because it does not scan properly in my computer.
In the photo, Jamie Fakes, Lachlan Austin and Des Bowlay listed.

This means Glen Innes can have a voice in the community (but appears not).

Look up  FM community licence  for Glen Innes where I discussed the Glen FM station.

I am sure that Des Bowlay and his team in Glen Innes  will do the things that need to be done for the FM Station to be accepted by the  Glen Innes people.
The station needs people to be on air.
Des do not to be tempted to by-pass live presenters. In Glen dozens of people will join you and you can have a vibrant station.
Best wishes for you and your team.

A note from me.
I hope, the Glen Innes FM Committee is not seduced to believe that presenters on air are not needed.
Presenters are vital for a vibrant FM station, because presenters and people are bonded together. The more charismatic the presenter is, and a great program, people will follow (This one of the greatest mistakes the FM Deepwater has made. It has been working outside of the community) I hope Des and your team are truly in charge and can become part of the community in Glen Innes.

Also do not let FM Glen Innes become a sub-station for Deepwater. Run your own race and let the Deepwater team help you to become a great station in its own right.
From Des's comments in the Glen Innes Examiner, he and his team understands that without the Deepwater Committee the station would not have become a reality.
So praise go to the Deepwater people.

                              ......................

Also look at my comments about the
Deepwater FM. A warning.
At the present the FM Deepwater committee, because it has been unable to keep people on air,  are doing their best to implement outside voices, such as their satellite disc. Programs that are not relevant to the Deepwater community.. They have accepted second best, when in fact they should be turning the hearts of people in Deepwater to support the Deepwater station.

The next few days more will be listed on this page
