I want you to note. I know what this
paper covers and states, is not accepted by most Denominations. I am a student
and I spent a lot of time in my Bible which is mainly the `Revised Standard
Version.' I can only say what I have discovered. As stated elsewhere in this
essay, if you disagree with me let me know and show why you think
different
JESUS IS NOT GOD
This
is the end of my discussion on whether Jesus is God or my position that Jesus is
not God.
If you scroll down I have listed my last reasons I believe Jesus is the son of
God.
1/ It is clear that as we read about Jesus' life, Jesus himself places
himself under God and he does what the Father wants him to do.
2/ In heaven we are told Jesus in heaven sits at the right hand of God.
That itself tells you the Jesus is not God.
The Denominations state that yes, `God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy
Spirit are three in the headship, but are one.' I agree with that
statement.
It is a different matter to say that Jesus in his relationship(headship) with
God, that he (Jesus) is really God. When the evidence shows the opposite.
I am happy to say, `When we see God we see Jesus. When we see Jesus we see God
and when we talk about the Holy Spirit we are talking about God. They are one.'

Having said all this, remember, I am a student, therefore if I am in error show me.
Final two reasons I make my claim above.

Jesus (Christ) is sitting at the right hand of God.
My conclusion is stated through deduction. I am happy for you to use induction as the way to show
that Jesus is God. I serve a living God. |
