GOD. ADAM. EVE.

I am dealing with Genesis chapter 3

So Adam and Eve disobeyed God.
So what!
God/Jesus has said to us, when we refuse God's gift of having our sins forgiven, we will be lost for ever. A life without God.
Yet we can come to God any time and have our sins forgiven.
(A true and false in a sense, but here I am not to argue a point, right or wrong)
The point is we can come to God and have our sins forgiven.
So Eve disobeyed God

So Adam disobeyed God

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, are we saying Adam and Eve were not sorry they disobeyed God.
Or
are you game enough to say Adam and Eve were not repentant sinners wanting to make amends to their error.
God was walking in the cool of the garden. He called for Adam. `Where are you?'
Adam said, `I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid myself.

Is it possible that God did not offer an opportunity for Adam and Eve to repent?

When Cain killed Abel there is no indication Cain was sorry, other then to say God's judgment against him was more then he could bear. Genesis 4.
David the King of Israel committed adultery and killed Bath-sheba's  husband.
God sent Nathan his prophet to send judgment. David had an opportunity to repent and he did.

Well! Why did God not give Adam and Eve an opportunity to repent seeing the consequences was that death would be part of the planet, a world full of decay and misery, and with our own natures being corrupted.
Adam and Eve's sin consequences was mind blowing for all of us.
Where is the God of forgiveness?

The interesting question that has to be asked, did God have a plan?
Did God plan that Adam and Eve were to make a mistake that was going to change  the earth? That is, from a Paradise to an earth full of decay, full of death.

Are we moving into the paradigm where God predestinated that Adam and Eve were to fall, and therefore, God had set in place a rescue plan for those who are destined to be lost without God.
So, God's plan was that Adam and Eve fell from Grace and God finally sent his son into the world to die on the cross so that we can be reconciled to God, and when we die we end up in paradise.
God could have allowed Adam and Eve to repent. We have to say, that was not God's plan.
Or
am I wrong.
Is there a better understanding of what happened.
................
Think about David (king of Israel), who committed adultery and David killed
Bath-sheba's  husband.
God brought a Prophet Nathan to David. Nathan exposed David's evil acts. David then realized his mistake and repented.
David's reign was seriously impaired because the Prophet told him that because of his sin there was going to be serious problems for him. And one consequence was his son Absalom turned traitor and David fled to the mountains. Absalom took over as King of Israel. But David was restored to his kingdom because God forgave him and he was restored to the King of Israel.
..................
Let's go back to Adam and Eve.
Could we assume that even though it does not tell us, that Adam and Eve did repent for not obeying God. So they were forgiven, but the consequences had to stay in place which was a world of decay and death.
David was restored to his Kingdom of Israel and we will also be restored to Paradise.
For us a similar situation as with David.
We have all sinned and disobeyed God. God sent Nathan to David. David repented.
God sent his Son into the world in about BC/AD, and us in 2005, God has sent his Bible to us doing the job Nathan had to do. So we are told in the Bible there is a serious problem, we have seriously disobeyed God.
So when we repent/sins forgiven and believe who Jesus is, we are then restored to paradise.
We belong to God and when we expire/die we will be with our Lord and Savior.
Great news.

Are you happy with my reasoning.
God did forgive Adam and Eve.
