I attended a funeral yesterday (28-09-006)
The women's husband was buried a few years ago and I attended her funeral and today her son was buried and I also attended. Both were cremated and at both services the person who did the Homely gave a typical Christian service about the resurrection.

The husband
received a frank evangelistic talk about God and Jesus.
The few people who came heard and it was as though another language was spoken.

received a milder type Homely in the third person. A Christian Homely.

As I drove from the funeral service today there was discussion on the radio of the need for Religion and Government to be kept separate.
Why does it have to be separate?
The people are saying that the true God does not exist.
Religion is not real, but you can have it, it is good for you, gives you a crutch, something to hold on.
That person is saying you are holding onto (Religion) that is great, you can, but I will not because  religion is not what I want because it is not real and does not belong in the real world..

There is a huge problem.
God does exist.
Millions and millions over the centuries have served the living God, the same as I do and others around us do as well.
God is revealed in the Word of God given by the Prophets , that God sent to Israel thousands of years ago. And two thousand years ago God's Son came into the world had he and his followers gave us the New Testament which is also the Word of God and that is what we have today
The Bible
The bible is not biased.
The greatest rule God has given us is that we are to love God with all our heart, soul and strength and to love our neighbor  as we love ourselves.

A clean, pure, perfect instruction from God.
If that happens then the trouble around the world would not exist.

The people who came to the funeral heard what we call a call from God .
God's word came to their ears, but it simply went into the ear and it did not register to them that God was talking to them.
They left the service and stayed in the dark.
God does exist.
That is why God has chosen people to be Evangelistic preaches, and that is what I (Hendrik) am.
Call and call to people that God exists and the statement above is for them to obey.
They will be happy if they do.
So that when they die they will be with Jesus Christ, therefore they are in the light.
Darkness is all around the world.
But God offers light and gives you a reason to live.
The funeral I attended was sad because there was no light (hope) because both people who died were anti God.
To them God was a figure in a persons mind and the only person in the family left living thought exactly the same.
I feel sad for the women and that is why Evangelistic meetings around us need to happen regularly, so every person hears that God lifts the darkness and offer life. life eternal.
