UNDESIRABLE DESIRES OR ACTIONS
for Christians
What I am talking about is any thinking or
action that you know is wrong, or any thinking or action that God/Jesus/Holy
Spirit has told you to stop.
Once you believe, that what you are doing is something God wants you to stop, then for
you it becomes wrong (Forbidden fruit).
So you must stop it. If you cannot stop it, well do not give up. Try to stop it
again and again. Look at the problem each time and with God with you, put in place each
time a strategy to beat it.
The key is, never give up. Eventually with God's help you will succeed.

But there is a situation in which you will never stop the
undesirable action that God has asked you to stop.
You might never stop it, because you enjoy it.
So when you come before God, even though you know, God really wants you to stop
it, it is a problem that will not stop you from being a son or a woman in God's
Kingdom.
In this situation, if God has his mark on you and he really wants you to stop
the action he will stop you. Literally, God will stop you, and his action may
hurt you initially, but he does it for your good.

There is one point we do need to cover. If God does not stop
you from the `forbidden fruit' and you cannot stop the undesirable action then
there are serious consequences for you.
You will remain a Christian, but you will be an invalid type Christian. Your
Christian work will be stunted because your work does not have the `full'
blessing of God on your life. Put simply, you will not achieve your `full'
potential.
Have a look at 1 Corinthians chapter 3. Also there are other
warnings from God in his Bible about the Christian's walk, where he talks about the
unfaithful servant. You are a Christian, but really you are obstinate, a rebel, and you are
refusing to obey God's voice.
Do not let this be you.
Obey God. Run with God.
Enjoy God's blessing on your life and work.
