Deepwater FM 91.9 and Glen Innes FM 105.9

Hi, this is Hendrik and it has been a while since I put on a Video and decided there are changes happening.

What is good is that 11th 12- 2011 has been running for well over ten years and the start of the Deepwater Glen Innes FM the link can be found down this page or go onto www.deepwaterailway.com These archive notes are simply for Historical purposes.

Of course as with any group of people there are joys and sadness. Unity and divisions that is a reality of life.

Community groups are easy to have disputes because of the basis it is Community and Community groupings often cause discord. Of course an astute person needs to be the Chairman so that the FM Station can survive in the long run.

Over the years I have been involved in groups I have read about community Groups and people problem seems to be part of the journey.

As you know Community FM radios survive because of voluntary workers and Deepwater FM 91.9 and Glen Innes 105.9 FM. Of course radio presenters do it because they wish to and to supply a service to their listeners. Presenters wish to have and enjoyable time while doing their program

However often people try to lord over the presenters and it is no different to here in Deepwater FM and Glen Innes FM and also other places around the country.

My advice is to presenters is if you wish to be a part of a Community group FM or any other group you will need to make sure that people around you want the same so that the Radio Station can have a positive atmosphere with will be noticeable by the listeners. Divisions take away that life sparkle in peoples voices and listeners will notice.

At the moment voices are around town talking about the problems at the FM Stations here in Glen Innes and Deepwater.
It clearly needs to be fixed. It is better to close down the Station for a period of time and remove any person who is involved in divisions. This is my thought.

Divisions is a cancer and only the good leadership can fix things up. I believe the current leadership put in October 2011 has the ability to set things right.

Radio is an important part of peoples lives Stations exists in Inverell AM Radio such as Inverell 2 NZ 1188 AM, Gem FM.95.1 Tenterfield Ten FM 89.7. ABC Tamworth Armidale 101.9 Ashford 107.9 Lismore 91.3 and of course I now have links around the world Here I am in Deepwater often 300 kilometers away I am listen on the WEB Radio Brisbane 4BC and in fact I can listen Radio Station around the world. While I am doing this video I am listening to Magic 1278 Radio Melbourne

The reason I have noted these stations is that Radio Station FM and AM need to be absolutely run professional unfortunately in the past here in Deepwater FM 91.1 and Glen Innes 105.9 has not been good enough.

That is the leadership has not had the ability for over ten years more to keep together a group of people and it is shown by the way the FM Station is run

Glen Innes has a Glen Innes Railway Station and Deepwater which is 40 kilometres
north of Glen Innes. And north 55 kilometres a town called Tenterfield which has a
Tenterfield Railway Station and now we have in Deepwater a Repainted Deepwater
Railway Station. Video below only 2 minutes each. If you go down the

Deepwater citizens and Tourist will enjoy looking at the

Because 2000 to 3000 people a week go onto my three main WEB Sites which are interlocked and feed each other I devided to do a Video how 2cbd is going on. The Deepwater Railway Station is being upgraded inside and being painted outside of the Deepwater Railway Station.
If you go onto www.deepwaterrailway.com news about the station is there as well some photos and you can see the history of the Deepwater Railway Station, Photos and a History of the journey in Deepwater FM 2CBD, 2CBDonline and Glen Innes FM. A sordid beginning, a disaster, but today 2009 Deepwater 2cbd is plodding on and things are improving. I wish the FM 2cbd the best I am sure their audience will increase over time..

Collapse of Deepwater FM Deepwater Branch. It took 10 years but finally it happened.

Deepwater FM 2cbd, 91.1. Glen Innes FM 105.9. 2cbdonline. Now October 2007 Deepwater Railway being neglected again. Deepwater FM 2cbd, 91.1. Glen Innes FM 105.9. 2cbdonline has almost deserted the Deepwater Deepwater FM. Building, no-one to look after it, or the grounds.
Two people asked me to remove from my site information about the unfortunate beginning of Deepwater FM 91.1 2cbd .The reason I will not is because the history of Deepwater FM 91.1 happened. So even though the FM group would like this sordid history gone I will leave it in place. Last year 25000 unique visitors came, and this year visitors will exceed this amount. No information has ever came from the Deepwater FM or Glen Innes FM, so I have not any information in the which states any issues were resolved to balance what I have stated. It is 2007 I have moved on and the Local FM is moving forward which is great.

There is always a time to publicly say I support the Glen Innes FM 105.9 and the Deepwater FM 91.1 CBD.
It was terrific to see their (Deepwater FM Glen Innes FM) banner and their people in the relay. For 70 groups to participate is outstanding
It was great to see the whole district Glen Innes and district come together for Real for Life cancer research fundraiser and to raise about $150,000 dollars is exceptional

In Deepwater over the last few years has seen many of my friends die. Deepwater is a town with many retired people living out their twilight years. Many people do decide they are entitled to do nothing as they have lived their lives and have been there and now want nothing else.
In a corny way, it appears to me they are simply waiting to die.
ie, Death Row.
In a corny way, I say that, I think that is a mistake.
I believe each person should support a group or groups. Be a participator of the life journey, no matter what age. That includes any group or church.
In a corny way, I believe, this could add years to a person's life as they reach out to other people.

It interesting to note that Deepwater FM 91.1 cbd building has once again been reduced to
only a few hours a week.
Unfortunately their program was out of date when I put this link in.

It is also interesting to note that Deepwater town and district still do not support the Deepwater FM
Over the years I have never seen people going into the FM station. A few but not many.
There is no voice in my town telling people to support Deepwater FM. But it can change,

People have been saying to me what has happened at the Deepwater Railway over the last few years.
Those people then talk about what other people are saying about what happened at the Deepwater Railway Station and Deepwater FM 91.1 2cbd.
Unfortunately what people are saying is almost ridiculous and the opposite to what happened.
I have almost a 6 year diary of what happened.

55 kilometers North of my town Deepwater is Tenterfield and has a fabulous FM Community station.
Tenterfield Tenfm. 89.7 and Stanthorpe 98.7

is a well established and most people in the district listen to Tenterfield FM 89.7 .

The Deepwater FM is housed in the Deepwater Railway Station. I can see it from my house.
In Glen Innes from disused Pump Station on Martins Lookout.

Deepwater FM 91.1 is close to my house and I work on the Deepwater Railway site.
Glen Innes FM 105.9 is forty kilometers South of my town.

It is 2-6-005 I received phone calls that FM 91.1 is coming through TV set and other TV sets have been interfered.
Happily I have been able to say that the FM 91.1 in Deepwater and Glen Innes FM 105.9 has new installations and they are happy that they can now increase their power which means a better signal and will go further.
The result appears to be that (According to FM source) TV installations on our towers cannot cope with what has happened. So (The FM source) has said they have done the right thing in the installation of their new gear, so it is now for us the citizens to sort out the problems in our receptions.

A fair question to ask.
I guess they do a FM member was fixing the problem
