For Christians `God's last words to you before you die.

Even though this coffin belongs to Pope Paul II, I am sure you will understand 
(The box is to help you picture your ultimate end. In a box you are) 
I am talking about you, just before you die. 
I know in the end you will no longer exist on the earth.
But you have to first, travel through the valley of death.

I have no hesitation in saying that for you as a Christian the valley of death will hold no fear because you are told Jesus will be with you when you die. God/Jesus/Holy Spirit/ angels will carry you through the valley.

Let me give you a context.
Life as a Christian is full of trials and tribulation.
Also as a Christian you may have let your God/Jesus/Holy Spirit down, by not doing what God wanted you to do.
You may have been battling all through your life. 
You may have also been missing out God's full blessing in your life because you have been disobedient.
You definitely could have been a lousy Christian. 
Maybe you have been a lazy Christian.

Please remember in this page I am talking only about Christians. You have come to Jesus, you know who he is and you have had your sins forgiven. you are in God's Kingdom.
The reason you are a Christian is because 
Your faith has saved you. 
You are saved by faith not works so that no person can boast.
So as you go through life and finally you are to die, the question is not about how good a Christian you were. Because if that was the case you will be afraid to die because as a Christian you could not measure up.
For me I think it is important for me to understand that point.
When I have run my race and I am about to die, my trust is in Jesus Christ. I believe the popular text that you become a Christian when you believe:
 `For God so loved the world that he gave his own Son, so that whoever believes on him will not die but have eternal life. 

I believe.
I do believe.
I definitely believe.
I with my soul believe.
I with all my being believe.

So it is important to understand that all the good works you manage to do, these works will not bring you to heaven.
What brings you to heaven is your faith in Jesus Christ and he will carry you to heaven.

We are now in a position to talk about what God would be saying to you before you die.
We know Jesus loves you and he cares about you and he knows that you are about to die.
He knows there is a fear in you because even though you know what is going to happen because you read it in your Bible, the fact is, it is happening to you, not someone else.

That is the scary part.
It is you that is dying, not someone else.
An unbelievable event.
You are going to be gone  from this earth.
That is the scary part.

Not having died myself I can only tell you insights that I have gleamed out of God's word.

It is clear in Psalm 23.
`Even though you are going to go through the valley of death
You need not fear because God is with you and his rod and his staff will comfort you.
God/Jesus/Holy Spirit will help you, comfort you, so you need not fear.'

I believe God/Jesus/Holy Spirit/angels will meet you when you are about die.
You will be assured that you need not worry because you are going home.

So,
What will God be saying to you?
`Come ,I am taking you home.'

Your time with Jesus is precious.
I hope you have a time when you are not rushing away.
